Steam Baked Cinnamon Rolls

Steam Baked Cinnamon Rolls

This Labor Day Weekend I invited a few people over for brunch to celebrate the long weekend. I’d picked up a batch of cinnamon rolls I planned on popping in the oven for an easy, sweet treat to go along with the omelets and fresh fruit I was serving. But when the time came, I couldn’t bare the thought of turning on my oven… I mean there is a reason Labor Day is considered the last day of Summer, it’s hot! So I opened my rice cooker and let it do its thing. These gooey rolls came out perfectly sweet and steamy without heating up the entire house, which my guests and myself ended up being very thankful for.

1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls

Line Steam Tray with foil. Open rolls and place each one in the steam tray (it’s fine if rolls are touching).

Add 2 cups of water to your inner pot and place the tray on top.

Steam for the time indicated on the cinnamon roll package. When your rice cooker beeps frost and enjoy!
