If you are ever on the island of Oahu, everyone that you meet will tell you to try the Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp and for good reason too! The Hawaiian garlic shrimp is bursting with sweet and juicy flavors. This recipe is taking from mixing the plate lunch style Garlic Shrimp and adding an elegant twist with white wine to it.
1 lb large shell-on shrimp
4 tablespoons paprika
1/2 cup flour
4 cloves of Garlic, finely minced
Salt to taste
1/4 cup of White Wine
Lemon or lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Ghost Pepper sauce
Optional: Add Cayenne pepper for an added spicy kick
Mix your Ghost Pepper sauce, flour, and paprika in a bowl.
Turn your Aroma 3-in-1 Grillet™ on to 300º F.
Place butter into Grillet and melt the butter until it is clear.
Add garlic and cook until the garlic is golden brown (About 1 1/2 minutes)
Coat shrimp in the flour mixture and cook in the garlic butter. Cook for approximately 3 minutes on each side.
Add salt to taste.
Pour your white wine over the shrimp.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice or use store bought lemon juice with the shrimp.
Serve over freshly cooked rice from your Aroma Rice Cooker.
