Spicy and cheesy! Where can you go wrong? Add a little zing to your Alfredo sauce with this easy recipe!

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 25 minutes
Total time 40 minutes.
Yield: 7-9 servings

16 oz penne pasta
2 cups of Alfredo Sauce
3 cups chicken breast
1 tsp garlic, minced
2 cups Parmesan cheese (reduced fat), shredded
2 cups Mozzarella cheese (reduced fat), shredded
1 can petite diced tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste

Alfredo sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
10 oz of milk in general (You may substitute using 2% evaporated milk as well)
1 oz light cream cheese
¼ cup chicken broth
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
3 oz of Sriracha or to taste (in case you want a some spice or more spice)

For the Alfredo sauce, melt the butter in a pan over medium to high heat. After the butter is hot, add garlic and cook, stirring frequently until the garlic is fragrant. This will take anywhere from 1-2 minutes.

After that, whisk the flour into the butter-garlic mixture. Once the flour is combined, whisk in the milk to create a slightly thickened sauce. This whole process should take no more than 1-2 minutes. Lastly, stir in the cream cheese and the chicken broth until the mixture is smooth. Season your sauce with your desired amount of salt and pepper to taste. If you want, you may also add in more chicken broth to taste. Lastly, stir in your Sririacha sauce to taste.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil your Doveware Casserole dish. The non-stick coating on the casserole dish makes it ideal for bakes because any residue comes right off!

In the Aroma 3-in-1 Grillet™, grill the chicken until it is cooked. This should take no more than 3-5 minutes.

In the Grillet, cook pasta according to the package instructions but leave the pasta slightly under al dente. This will take approximately 8 minutes. Drain the pasta well. You don’t want to overcook the pasta because it will continue to bake in the oven.

In a large bowl, combine the chicken, pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and your Alfredo sauce. Add pasta mixture into the baking dish and top with Parmesan.

You may be worried about your chicken drying out for the cheese will create an insulation layer that will help keep the chicken moist.

Place into oven and bake until golden brown and cheese has melted. Approximately 15-20 minutes.

Serve immediately. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Note: If desired, you may use store bought Alfredo sauce and swirl in the Sriracha sauce as well.
