Mi Aroma Sausage Sambol Noodle Bowl

Mini Sausage-Udon 1

Quick and nourishing, this lunch or dinner comes together in minutes leaving you plenty of time for all that other stuff. Fresh ingredients coupled with items from your pantry encourage this fast, but not fast-food, meal. Leave it to your Mi Aroma to come through again in record time.

½ cup udon noodles, broken in half
¾ cup chicken or vegetable broth
1/8 tsp turmeric
½ tsp sambol sauce, or to taste
1/8 tsp minced garlic
4 oz Vienna sausage, drained and cut into bite sized pieces
½ cup bok choy, tender green leaves only, chopped fine
1 small bell pepper, cut into thin strips
Sesame oil and hard – boiled egg for garnish

Place all ingredients in the inner pot of the Mi Aroma, stir until combined. Press cook button. After 10 minutes, open lid and stir again to separate noodles, if necessary. Continue cooking until noodles are cooked to desired consistency.
Garnish with an egg and ½ tsp sesame oil if desired.
