Hearty Hunter’s Beef Stew


Yes, you can make a Hunter’s stew in your Mi Aroma. With the time saving method there is no reason to settle for canned stew. When you can have fresh with all the nutritious benefits fresh brings, why would you? Eat this plain or serve on a bed of rice or as I did on some pasta bows. Worthy of you or possibly two, let dinner begin.

6 oz beef stew meat
1/3 cup diced carrots
1/3 cup diced onions
1/3 cup diced bell pepper
½ cup diced potatoes
½ cup red wine
½ cup beef or chicken broth
1 tbsp tomato paste
¼ tsp each onion and garlic powder
½ tsp Worcestershire or fish sauce
½ tsp caraway seeds or Parmesan cheese (optional)

Combine and mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into the inner pot of the Mi Aroma. Lock the lid and press cook. When it switches to the warm setting, check for doneness. If more time is needed, continue to cook for an additional ten minutes, then check again. Taste for seasonings, adding salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with grated Parmesan or caraway seeds if desired.
