Wok Those Dogs

This fusion theme of flavors makes for a great party dish!
Gather your grouping of international dogs: Kurobuta pork sausages from Japan, spicy Italian sausages, Bratwursts from Germany as well as the American hotdog. As they are cooking in your Aroma Wok, prepare the ingredients for the stir fry and your many toppings.

Ingredients
Assorted sausages, hot dogs and buns
Prepared rice and noodles, such as udon or pasta of choice.

In the Aroma Electric Wok, cook your sausages and hot dogs according to package instructions. Set aside and keep warm while cooking the stir fry.

Asian Stir Fry with Pork
1 tsp Thai chili paste
¼ cup chicken broth, heated
1 tsp brown sugar
½ lime, squeezed
2 tbsp peanut oil
½ lb minced pork
1 tbsp fresh minced ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
4-6 cups shredded green stir fry mixture, such as Bok Choy, Napa and purple cabbage, grated carrots
1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water

Directions
In a small bowl combine the Thai chili paste, chicken broth, brown sugar and lime juice, mixing well.
Set the wok to “high” and heat for two minutes. Add the peanut oil, minced pork, ginger and garlic, stirring quickly and continuously until pork is no longer pink. Add the chili paste mixture and continue stirring for 10 – 15 seconds. Stir in the shredded bok choy, cabbage and carrots. Cover with lid and cook for a minute or until greens have wilted a bit and cooked down. If meat juices are too thin, slowly add cornstarch to thicken. Place in a serving bowl and garnish with diced green onions, toasted sesame seeds, red bell pepper and chopped cilantro.

This is a very versatile recipe as you use the ingredients and flavors you love, making it your own signature dish! Consider some of the items I used:
Hot dog on top of nori seasoned white rice; sprinkle with grated daikon radish and toasted sesame seeds.
Spicy Italian sausage topped with vegetable stir fry and sweet Thai chili sauce.
Kurobutu sausage topped with noodles seasoned with wasabi mayo. Sprinkle with sesame oil and roasted black seaweed.
Bratwurst with pork stir fry, Sriracha flavored mayo and sesame oil.

Flavored Mayonnaise
To make ½ cup of mayonnaise, start with 1 tbsp of your choice: soy sauce, wasabi paste, Sriracha sauce, or hoisin sauce. Mix well, taste and add more if a deeper flavor is desired.
