S’mores Bars

S’mores indoors! Who says you need a campfire to craft some succulent summer s’mores? With just your Aroma casserole dish and an oven, you can achieve S’mores in a new (and less messy) way. Boasting the three undeniably addicting main ingredients to a s’more, these bars will not miss a beat in your summer BBQs or any of your other get togethers. This recipe is extremely simple to make and not to mention less of a cleanup than a bonfire!

9 graham cracker sheets, crushed
6 tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows

Doveware Casserole
10-12 servings
Total Time: 30 minutes

Preheat your oven to 350° F. Spray your Doveware casserole dish with nonstick coating, making sure to get the sides of the dish as well.
Mix together the graham crackers, the 6 tbsp of butter (melted) and the 2 tbsp of sugar in a large mixing bowl. Once the mixture has a smooth texture, press it evenly into the bottom of your Doveware dish.
In a different bowl, mix together 1 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp baking powder and set aside.
Combine 3/4 cup of granulated sugar and 1/2 cup unsalted butter in another bowl until it is creamy. Next, add in the egg and the vanilla and mix. Slowly add in the flour mixture until it is fully combined. (It should resemble a cookie dough texture!) Spread the mixture on top of the graham cracker crust, using your hands to flatten it against the crust. Try to cover the entire crust evenly!
Equally spread 1 cup of mini marshmallows and 1 cup of chocolate chips over the top of the cookie dough. Lastly, drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the edges are browned.
Put it in the fridge for about an hour to harden before cutting. Enjoy!
