Hawaiian Grilled Cheese

Grilled cheese is a classic, basic lunch that can get boring. Switch it up with a Hawaiian twist! Add pineapple, ham, and teriyaki sauce to get a whole new flavor that is rich and sweet. Enjoy making this delicious sandwich in no time at all with your Aroma Grillet!

8 slices white bread
sliced or shredded Monterrey jack cheese
sliced or shredded cheddar cheese
8 pineapple rings
4 tbsp of teriyaki sauce (thick sauce is best)
thinly sliced black forest ham
6 tbsp softened butter

Servings: 4
Cooking time: 10 minutes

Heat up your Aroma Grillet. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice of bread (buttered side down) on the grillet and layer cheeses, 2 slices ham, 2 pineapple rings, 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce, and then top with another slice of bread. Cook on both sides until cheese is melted and bread is browned. Repeat with the other three sandwiches.
