Bacon & Cream Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

Finger foods! Who doesn’t love a bite sized appetizer bursting with flavor? This simple 5-ingredient recipe is practically begging to be made for your next party or potluck. This hors d’oeuvre will be your new go-to side or appetizer to bring to every single one of your get togethers!

16 oz white cap mushrooms
4 oz package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 slices smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 green onion, thinly sliced

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Pour water into the inner pot of your Aroma rice cooker. Place as many de-stemmed mushrooms as you can (while leaving about 1/2 inch between each of them) in the Steam Tray, close the lid and Steam/Cook for about 8 minutes. In a small bowl, blend the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, bacon, and green onion, adding salt and pepper to taste. After steaming, open the lid and mound the cream cheese mixture into each mushroom, smoothing the tops with the edge of a knife. Close the lid and continue cooking for 3 to 4 minutes. Let cool slightly and then place the mushrooms on a serving tray. Repeat the process until all of the cream cheese mixture is used up.
